PAC's tri-batten is a triangular truss that is suspended on one set of lines but performs the task of three sets, thus saving space as well as costs. The tri-batten is able to support borders, legs and lighting equipment, as well as accommodate the plugging strip for the lights. A typical stage would normally have four of these trusses, raised and lowered by a motorized hoist.
